area.  191 Assistant (Grimpe) arrived on scene and after an
investigation, determined it to be a woodburner and returned all units.

County 9-1-1 received a call for a car on fire in the street in front of this
house.  260 Captain (Nestler) arrived on scene and assumed
command.  260 Truck arrived on scene and extinguished an engine
compartment fire with the booster tank.

County 9-1-1 received a call for a car on its side w/ no entrapment just
below the Millvale Ballfield.  191 Chief arrived on scene, confirmed no
entrapment and cancelled the rescue assignment.  PD later stated
that there was no need for fire at all, and the assignment was
released.

Millvale police investigating smoke in the area asked for F.D. to be
dispatched to assist with the investigation.  260 Chief arrived on
scene and after a short investigation, it was found to be a wood
burner at 469 Evergreen.  All units returned.

County 9-1-1 dispatched units to a 3rd floor balcony fire alarm at the
high school.  Shortly after dispatch, the alarm company called back
and received proper code.  259 Chief (Woodall, Sr) continued to
confir, and cancelled the assignment.

Etna FD had a cal in to their station for smoke coming from the
convent building on Dewey St. 149 Assistant (Mertens) and their
rescue checked out the area and couldn't find any smoke.  The
assignment was placed back in service.

assignment.  A maintenance worker reporting that a resident
accidentally pulled the alarm.

Units dispatched to a vehicle smoking, possibly on fire in front of the
Roadside Beer store.  Police arrived on scene, found a fire and
knocked it down with an extinguisher.  Fire arrived on scene and
conducted overhaul on the vehicle and cleared shortly thereafter.

from the Sharpsburg Hi Rise.  County received word by the alarm
company of a bad cook who burnt their breakfast meat.  260 held on
station while 102 confirmed there was no fire.

Units alerted by Allegheny County 9-1-1 for a man down inside of a
building with possible CO poisoning.  149 Chief (Porter) advised
county to add 260 onto the call.  Units arrived on scene, 149
packaged the unresponsive male in a stokes and brought him out of
the building to EMS waiting.  260 Truck crew assisted 149 with
removal, then ventilated, metered and shut the gas off to the bldg.

Units alerted by Allegheny County 9-1-1 for a crash with entrapment at
the intersection.  265 Chief (Costanzo) arrived on scene and advised
to keep all rescue units coming, female patient was altered level and
an access problem.  260 Rescue arrived on scene and assisted
other companies with patient removal.

the residence.  260 Chief (Skalos) had the truck take the front and
sent his crew in with meters to investigate.  Dominion Gas Co was
notified as a precautionary.  EMS had 2 patient refusals and all
cleared 1/2 hour after dispatch.

Initially came in as a general fire alarm.  Police pulled up on scene
and had a working fire on the 5th floor with multiple entrapments.  
102 Crews took water supply and initial knock down.  All other units
assisted with removal of patients from the building.

Units alerted by Allegheny County for a male with a broken leg about
75 feet over a hillside.  259 and 260 worked together setting up a
hauling system, while EMS and QRS worked on getting the patient
packaged.  The patient was extricated about 1/2 hour after dispatch.  
A fine job by all involved!

CO alarm activation in the residence.  260 Truck crew arrived on
scene and metered the structure.  Readings of 20PPM were found
and the gas company was advised to respond.  The problem was
isolated to a hot water tank.
